With the message “Donate Blood, Save Lives,” the event saw heartfelt participation from parents, staff, and teachers. Presidency Indo International School joyfully celebrated Van Mahotsav under the inspiring initiative "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam." Our Pre-Primary and Primary students took part in tree plantation activities, nature-themed performances, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude towards Mother Earth and their own mothers. The event beautifully blended environmental awareness with emotional connection, fostering a spirit of care, sustainability, and responsibility among our young learners.
We are thrilled to share that 13 of our students participated in the CISCE Zone C Maharashtra Karate Championship at NL Dalmia School — and 9 returned with medals! 🏅✨ A big shoutout to our Gold medalists Viraj Bhoir and Aarush Shelar, who will now represent Maharashtra at the regional level! Under the guidance of Nishant Sir and the dedication of our Sports Department, this achievement reflects the spirit of hard work, discipline, and determination. The school recently held its prestigious Investiture Ceremony, conducted with a spirit of democracy and inclusion. Students actively participated in a structured electoral process to nominate and elect their peers for various student council positions. This event aimed to foster leadership qualities, responsibility, and a sense of duty among the students. After rounds of nominations, voting, and interviews, the Head Boy, Head Girl, and other council members were proudly announced. The ceremony was graced with inspiring speeches and the solemn oath-taking, empowering our newly appointed leaders to uphold the school’s values with pride and dedication.
Our school has proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT). This collaboration aims to strengthen scientific aptitude among students through engaging competitions, olympiads, and thought-provoking science events. The partnership will open new doors for budding scientists by providing them with exposure to advanced concepts and real-world applications of physics. Through this initiative, we strive to instill a deeper understanding of scientific inquiry and help students prepare for future challenges in STEM fields, thereby laying a strong foundation for their academic and professional aspirations in science and technology.
We are delighted to announce our new association with Talkover Cookies, an innovative platform promoting interschool cultural and intellectual exchange. This MOU will enable our students to interact and collaborate with peers from various states and countries, enhancing their global awareness and communication skills. As part of this initiative, our Grade 5 students had a virtual interaction with students from Delhi, while Grade 7 students engaged in enriching conversations with students from Indonesia. These sessions offered valuable insights into diverse cultures and educational systems, broadening their perspectives and fostering empathy, teamwork, and international camaraderie.
Commemorating the anniversary of India’s first satellite, Aryabhatta, our school organized an engaging workshop in collaboration with ISRO. The workshop provided students with an exciting opportunity to learn about the working of satellites, launch mechanisms, and India's advancements in space technology. Expert facilitators conducted hands-on demonstrations and interactive sessions to ignite curiosity and scientific thinking. This celebration not only honored a landmark achievement in Indian space history but also inspired students to explore the vast possibilities in astronomy and space science. It was a truly motivating experience for young minds aspiring to reach for the stars.
